In general it is difficult for me to white, either in Spanish or in English, because sometimes it hard to put into words what I am thinking or feeling, and target for this blog is exactly that. Still, the blog I enjoyed most whiting it was about a toy, because it made me remember all my toys that I had as a child and the moments of games and all the histories we created whith my sisters. And the post I least enjoyed writing it was about a phone app, because I don´t like the phone and over the day I pend the phone very little time. 

A toy

When I was a child one of my favorite toys was a little horse push toy. I don´t remember the exact moment when my uncle Rubén gave it to me, because he gave it to me when my sister was born, I was one year and seven months old. 

The stuffed animal is called "Lila, because his body is lilac and his legs are purple. Although it is a mobile, I used his to play with my sisters, we created histories with other toys and my Lila in general  was the horse of the princess   

A special occasion I remember as a child

When I was a child I live in Curico but all my family live in Santiago, my family consisted of mi parents, my sister Sofía and my newborn sister Mara. The special occasion I remember is the first travel to Santiago of Mara, for christmans of the year 2002. We arrived to the house of my mathernal grandparents, they live in the commun of La Florida.

My grandfather every years adorned this house for christmans, he prepared the manged whith baby Jesus, the christmans tree and placed colored lights, in the night the house looked beautiful. The night of Christmans we were seeing the lights for a long time, then we had a turkey dinner whith duchesse potatoes and many salads.

I remember we stayed up until midnight to receive Christmans gifts, one of the gifts I remember was a teddy bear that I still have and I love.

The next day we had it whit my paternal grandfather in is apartmen, I do not remember very well the details of that visit, but my sisters and I still keep the identical dolls that we give us on that occasion. 

 

The best family celebration

My best and more special family celebration were in 2007, we gathered in my house for celebration the birthay to my paternal grandfather, he was 89 years old. With my parents, sisters, uncles and cousins, in total we were fourteen people, we cooked him pasty in the clay oven, that were his favorite foot. 

Besides cooking, we talked long time, we laughed and we listened the stories to my grandfather, he was very entertaining to tell stories and I loved to hear it. I remember it was a very quiet and confortable afternoon. 

This family celebration is one of the last memories I have of my grandfather, because he died in November of that same year 

I hope that this year we will repeat this type of celebration, and althought it will not be same , this September 
11 th my grandfather would celebrate 100 years old. 

A PIece of Technology

Hi everyone!

It´s very difficult for me to choose only one favorite piece of technology. Every day I am surrounded by technology, specially my mobile phone, but I don´t like very much because is double edged sword for his versatility and many application that cause one to get lost in it. I thing that people shoult depend less on this type of technology, look more at what surrounds them, the people around them, talk face to face and enjoy the moments whithout the naad to take a picture or apload it to the internet. Of cours not all the time, but from time to time we should consider having days to rest from the tecnology.

I really love my computer, I had to buy last year to use the architecture programs and I do the jobs for the university, but in my rest time I also use it for other things, like saving my photos, downloading many movies that I later see on TV, watch series and movies on Netflix, check social networks, listen to music and learn to do different crafts and ideas.

The only problem is that sometimes I spend a lot of time in front of the screen, I´ve seen whole seasons of series stopping very little, and that causes me a headache. I must learn to control myself in that sense! 

A Walk You Would Like To Do Again

In the first year of architecture, whith the classmate of workshop went  to Monumento Nacional Glaciar El Morado, a beatiful place located in the  commune of San josé de Maipo, in the middle of mountains, 3.000 meter of altitude. That day were forecasted rainning but we were not important. 

We arrived to the cars from Santiago until could, and after we walked about 4 kilometers to our destination. The walk start calm and the sun was shining midday and we very much overdressed. 

The place were very beautiful, we walk in the middle to mountains, by the side of a river and while we advanced, the huge hills were approaching more and more. When we had already walked for about an hour, the landscape became white due to the accumulated snow and also the sky became cloudy and small flakes of snow began to fall. 

We were almost arriving the glacier, when an electrical strm started, although it was dangerous we kept moving forward, we had already reached there and we were not going to stop. 

From the summit you could see the whole valley and the view was wonderful, but the most impressive thing was that we werw very close to the lightning, even because of the static the hair on our heads raised. 

On the way back we went sliding down the snow hill below, we arrived wet and freeze to the cars, but it was a walk that I would do anyway. 

A unique and beatiful experience recommended for those who dare! 

the best of 2017

Every winter in my house snow, and the best of 2017 are this. After semester very complicated and the vacation of winter are necesary for rest.

This year, my summer holidays were very short because we were in classes until January, and in my opinion a month of vacation is little time to recover from a year of study. The vacation of winter were a best moment for enjoy, I love listening to the rain, watch movies and drink hot chocolate. For de only thing that went to the patio of my house was for de snow. 

It had snowed all the night. When I woke up everything was white!. Whit my sisters play every day, the cold did not matter. We played with snowballs and made a snow doll. 

That day we were so tired and happy, so the bad of the last semester was gone
